DR. JAMES BURTON

Born and raised in the Richmond area, Dr. Burton received his undergraduate and Masters of Teaching degrees from the University of Virginia. He taught middle school and worked in youth ministry before pursuing his dental education at the University of Louisville. In addition to work at his own office, Dr. Burton also serves as a dentist in the Army National Guard. He is well-known for his warm personality, gentle manner, and exceptional dental skills.

Charity and mission work are very important to Dr. Burton both personally and professionally. He serves in the dental mission field of El Progresso, Honduras, and provides care to members of the local community through regular work at the Lynchburg Free Clinic and for children affiliated with Five18 Family Services.

DR. ALEXA DRAY

Dr. Dray is a Lynchburg native who first shadowed Dr. Burton during undergrad and was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry. After earning her Biology degree from The University of Virginia and completing dental school at Indiana University, she’s excited to return to Lynchburg and care for the community she calls home.

When she’s not in the office, you can find Dr. Dray reading fiction, running (she just finished her first half-marathon!),

or spending time with family and friends.
